Some might call Clinic’s efforts a bit repetitive. And there’s some merit in that statement. Still, I find fully half of the band’s discography to be pretty darn good–its most recent offering being its best. So I was pretty stoked to hear that there’ll be some new (or at least relatively so) stuff for me to chew on in the coming months.
Yup. I said months. Apparently I’m going to have to wait until August to hear the whole thing. This is horsepucky: I mean, I know–hype, it sells stuff. But c’mon! Eight months?! Really?! Could there be some kind of issue mucking-up the works? Maybe?
Until then, fans will have to settle for a free single, available here as of February 1st. Sigh.
