Now that the whole self-imposed prohibition on baseball postings thing has been broken, we here at Um feel perfectly fine engaging in a bit of dialog about our favorite sport. So here goes:
Back when Roger Clemens was still in red socks, his profound mound dominance inspired this fella to honor his then-only pet by granting it the right to share the still-nearly-svelte hurler’s nickname. Recent events make me wonder if maybe Rocket the hermit crab had also shared Rocket the pitcher’s personal trainer, he might not have been a bit more fun to have around the house.
Maybe the unfortunately-snouted Congressman Waxman will ask this question when he confronts Clemens at today’s Congressional Hearings on baseball-related juicing.
